Memorial Day Holiday Schedule:
SORD trash collection will be running normal trash services on Monday, May 26, 2025, for Memorial Day. All collection routes for Memorial Day will be on the normal schedule.
PLEASE NOTE - THE LANDFILL WILL BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC Monday, May 26, 2025.
As a reminder, please have your cart out no later than 6:00 a.m. on your regularly scheduled pickup day and leave it out until it is emptied.
The office will be closed on Memorial Day.

Due to all the recent rain, SORD landfill will have times when it must temporarily close to the public. It would be best to avoid the landfill, if possible, until it dries out. Our local sanitation routes take priority so that your trash cart can be emptied on time. Wait times to dump are extreme at times depending on the rain received.
We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
